Core platform & trust
Secure accounts, prepared profiles, guardian linkage, active-case workflow, public case pages, QR sharing, geo alerts, admin review, and core security controls.
HelpFindMe is being designed so families can prepare before an emergency and then move through a clear, structured workflow if a person goes missing.
A guardian creates and maintains a private profile with the person's current photos and identifying information. The intent is simple: the family should not have to begin gathering basic information during the first stressful minutes of an emergency.
If the person goes missing, an authorized guardian can change the prepared profile into an active missing-person case. The live case becomes the current public-facing source for the information the family chooses to release.
The product roadmap calls for geo-targeted alerts so people in the relevant area can be directed to the active profile instead of relying entirely on the chance distribution of social feeds.
As the platform grows, community members are intended to be able to submit possible sightings, locations, and optional images through a dedicated workflow. Reports can then stay attached to the case rather than being scattered across comments, private messages, and reposts.
Families and trusted participants can post updates to the same case page. Once the person is safely located, the case can be marked recovered.
The current roadmap intentionally stages more complex capabilities after the core platform.
Secure accounts, prepared profiles, guardian linkage, active-case workflow, public case pages, QR sharing, geo alerts, admin review, and core security controls.
Live sightings, identity verification, verified agency participation, official data integrations, and donation/reward workflows.
Multilingual expansion, optional real-time location features, AI-assisted image similarity, analytics, sponsorship programs, and a trained regional response network concept.
The product is still in development, so these are design requirements rather than claims about a finished system.
Only authorized users should be able to activate or close a profile.
Prepared information should not become public simply because a family created a profile.
Identity and role verification are planned for higher-risk actions and partner accounts.
That is the design principle behind HelpFindMe.
